Community Service Days
Our founder, Bob Miller, didn’t just start a business, he founded a community. He established our company which focuses not only on the needs of the client, but also focuses on the needs of his associates and the company’s civic responsibilities.
- Together as a family, team members have the option of participating in 1/2 day of the Spring and Fall Miller Group community service projects.
- In addition, The Miller Group will give each team member one day off to work at a charity of their choice.
The Miller Way
We share our blessings with those less fortunate here in our community. Being a good corporate citizen is a core value of The Miller Group, and donating to our own non-profit client base only makes sense. The funds generated by team members are matched 100% by the company and go to help many different organizations and individuals with a variety of needs.
Team members can choose how much to donate and which non-profit agency from the Miller Way list they would like their funds to go to. The Miller Group list of non-profit customers serve the community in the following areas:
- Arts & community camps
- Children & family services
- Community outreach organizations
- Developmentally disabled aid programs
- Food banks
- Homeless services
- Humanitarian aid/international community development
- Health care & hospice
- Blood centers
- Religious organizations
Our gifts can mean the difference between a quality life and desperation, so please consider donating to The Miller Way and helping to change lives for the better!
The purpose of The Miller Group Benevolence Fund is to help team members and their families stay proactive in caring for their loved ones and themselves. Historically the Benevolence Fund has been for emergencies only, however in 2024 we expanded the program. Through voluntary contributions by team members, The Miller in Action Benevolence Fund is able to provide financial assistance to team members and immediate family.
Who can donate?
Anyone can donate to the fund pre or post-tax. The Benevolence Fund’s “financial deposits” are generated by both team member and company contributions. The company matches 100% of team members donations. For more information on contributing please contact Erin Donahoo.

As part of our wellness culture, The Miller Group encourages employees to be financially healthy. The Benevolence Fund will pay any Miller associate or their family member to take and complete the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University program. If an associate is the recipient of a Benevolence Fund grant for emergency purposes, they will be required to complete the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University program to help them prepare for the future. Before a second emergency request is considered, the Dave Ramsey course must be completed.
